Drop in Café

Once again we shall be running a Drop in Cafe , This will not be exclusively an International cafe this year. We shall be running the cafe and Alan Beavis is managing this part of our involvement. It will be based in the Gidney Cabin and it is proposed that we shall have an ISSU reception there at 16.30 on the Saturday evening to give us all the opportunity to network with those who are involved in International work both here and abroad.

We shall be promoting International opportunities here, inviting people to go the International marquee if they would like more information. For more information email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Programme

We are being asked to provide a 'work shop' based programme this year. I would like everyone to consider how you might deliver a work shop that assists leaders in presenting international at section level. This could be games, craft initiatives or just a presentation. We shall probably run these in 30 minute slots throughout the day. We are also going to run a one hour brain game with the theme of international expeditions. I would also like to see a workshop on fund raising for International experiences, a guide to completing the Visit Abroad paper work and how to build your own 'Country in a box'.
